Dennings was in a relationship with Nick Zano from 2011-2014, her co-star in "2 Broke Girls". Following their breakup, she began dating Josh Groban. Both remained in a relationship until the year 2016. Then, in early 2021, the couple met musician Andrew W.K. In May 2021, the pair announced that their relationship began. Dennings is a music lover since 2014, was Dennings's first crush. Dennings has admitted that, although she was born Jewish and became part of the Jewish community at a personal as well as a religious level, it is not a major part in her everyday activities. Some of interests include painting or reading books, as well as gardening. She had planned to attend art school in the past, but her plan was ruined by a flooding that caused the destruction of her portfolio. It was the flood that prompted her to start acting.
