Jana Kramer gained fame as an actress, singer of country music and songwriter when she appeared in the series One Tree Hill. She played Alex for three of its last four seasons. The series featured her first albums as country music which helped her debut album in the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. Thirty One, her follow-up album, released in 2015, climbed in the Top Ten. The decade ended with appearances for Dancing with the Stars. In 2021, The Self-Doubting Voices came out. Growing up within Rochester Hills Michigan Jana Rae Kramer grew up on country music. She would later be pursuing a recording career. However, she made her debut as a performer, making her onscreen debut in the indie horror film Dead/Undead as she was in her teens. After a few guest appearances in All My Children or CSI: NY, Kramer landed the role of Noelle Davenport on NBC Friday Night Lights in the show's 2nd season 2007-2008. Kramer was then on TV as Portia Ranson on 90210 from 2008 until 2009, and as Brooke Manning in Entourage in 2009. She joined the cast of CW One Tree Hill in 2009 in the role of Alex Dupre, and she continued to appear until the end of the show in 2012, about halfway into. Jana Kramer During her run on the show Kramer signed a recording contract with Elektra Records and debuted the modern country song I Won't Give Up on an episode in 2011 in One Tree Hill. This track appeared later on the debut full-length album of Jana Kramer in the middle of 2012. It reached number five in the Billboard Top Country Albums. Her focus was on her musical career afterward, she did not stop acting. she appeared in films such as Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016 that would be popular with her fan base. The second album of Kramer's Thirty One was released by Warner Music Nashville on October 15th of 2015. Thanks to her Top Five country hit I Got the Boy and an duet with Steven Tyler of Aerosmith it was even more successful, achieving number three on the country albums chart, and tenth on the Billboard 200. In September the singer was a part of two weeks participating in season 23 of Dancing with the Stars, which ended with an overall fourth place. In the same year, she made a splash with an adult contemporary song with Straight No Chaser's Feels like Christmas.
