Anamaria Marinca bio
Anamaria is a Romanian Actress. Her debut on screen was Sex Traffic, a Channel 4 film in which she received the British Academy Television Award as the Best Actress. Speaks French, German, English as well as Romanian well. Her father, who is a teacher of theatre at one of Romania's most prestigious theatre schools, is a theatre teacher. The award was presented to her as the Best Female Actor of the Year in 2000 Award in the young Actor Gala Mangalia. She was selected as an European Shooting Star by the European Film Promotion Board in 2008. She was a teacher at the University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu, Iasi for four years. bAnamaria is an Romanian actress who was born on the 01st of April 1978 in Iasi Romania. Anamaria Marinca, an actress who is of Romanian origins, made her screen debut in the television series British-Canadian called Sex Traffic. She won the British Academy Television Award Best actress for the role. In addition to her outstanding performance in her debut film the actress is also remembered for role in the Romanian art film 4 months 3 Weeks and 2 Days which won her many awards such as winning the European Film Award for Best Actress London Film Critics. She starred as an actress from Romania in Romanian actor in Cristian Mungiu's 4 luni3 Two days, 4 months (four months three weeks and two three weeks and two days) that was awarded the Palme d'Or and other prizes at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival. Youth Without Youth, a Francis Ford Coppola movie, was also a part of her professional career. In 2008 she was the character Yasim anwar in the BBC Mini-Series The Last Enemy. Marinca was a part of The Romanian drama Boogie and in Oliver Hirschbiegel's critically acclaimed Five Minutes of Heaven. In the movie Fury (2014) in which she appeared as Irma she was an German woman, who served as Emma's aunt.
